Adfecto - Aspire To Lead

Based at the Hucclecote Centre in Gloucester, Adfecto is the professional development and consultancy arm of Gloucestershire Association of Secondary Headteachers Ltd.

Being part of GASH Ltd means that we work very closely with the membership schools of the company. We are a practitioner-led organisation running services for schools, and many of our programmes are delivered by serving teachers or senior leaders who are closely monitored to ensure that they offer excellent quality.

We are independent from the Local Authority, but work closely in partnership to ensure that the programmes, courses and services we provide complement and support their work so that the needs of our schools are met.

Our base at the Hucclecote Centre enables us to maintain close personal links with the departments and individuals based there. We also make use of the excellent training rooms and facilities available at the Centre for many of the courses and programmes that we deliver.

A developing area of our work is our close partnership with the University of Gloucestershire. Building on relationships and experience gained through the long-standing, pioneering Gloucestershire Initial Teacher Education Partnership, we are now able to offer accreditation for our CPD programmes in a rapidly increasing number of ways. As a result, teachers now have real opportunity to gain Master's level accreditation for the CPD work they undertake routinely during the year.

Although we are based in Gloucestershire, Adfecto is active throughout the Country and delivers programmes for a number of national bodies. We actively tender for new opportunities and are continually evolving and developing to meet the needs of our member schools and the contracts that we hold.
