Science Learning Partnership/Science Hub

The government is committed to make Britain the best country in the world for developing STEM skills in primary, secondary and further education so Britain can grow scientifically and technologically. Our Science Learning Partnerships share the government’s commitment and we aim to provide high-quality science training for teachers, teaching assistants and technicians and therefore improve the quality of teaching in science.

Adfecto is the provider of science CPD on behalf of DfE via STEM Learning Limited. We run two Science Learning Partnerships in collaboration with Pates Grammar School. We offer primary and secondary science training covering a wide geographical area including Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Swindon as well as Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

Through our network of highly trained presenters and using quality assured training materials, we ensure that schools are provided with impactful training which is current and always updated to respond to any with changes in the educational landscape.

This is priced flexibly and really makes an impact on science teaching within schools. This may take the form of a national course or we can tailor courses and make them bespoke to your school.

Subsidies which are provided by the Department for Education to support CPD, are available for some of our activities to make them more affordable to schools.

There is a lot of support available online, but it can take time to find it, so the Science Learning Partnership has put together a collection of websites with the best primary science resources available, to support teachers.

While the list is not exhaustive, all the resources come highly recommended by PSTT/Primary Science community.
