Penny has over 25 years’ teaching experience in Art & Design, having taught in a range of different schools across the UK, Botswana and Luxembourg. She has been a subject leader in North London, where she was also the local Art teacher’s co-ordinator and am currently Head of Art at Farmors school in Fairford. 

She has been a subject mentor for a number of trainees over the years and is committed to supporting newly qualified Art teachers to develop their skills in the classroom in order to continue to engage and inspire our young people.

Having taught Art in all forms including, printmaking, painting, textiles and sculpture, she believes that all students should be given the opportunity to experience a broad, creative curriculum in order to develop their artistic potential.
